نگاهی به انجمن روابط فرهنگی ایران و اتحاد جماهیر شوروی

در فضای ملتهب پس از ورود نیروهای متفقین به ایران و استعفای رضاشاه، انجمن روابط فرهنگی ایران و اتحاد جماهیر شوروی، با هدف توسعه روابط فرهنگی و ایجاد حسن تفاهم و دوستی دو ملت در تهران برپا شد و به مرور شعبه­هایی در شهرهای بزرگ همچون تبریز، مشهد، گرگان و اصفهان تاسیس کرد. این انجمن در سال­های 1332-1321ش. در قالب فعالیت­های گوناگون، نقشی مهم در پیشبرد دیپلماسی فرهنگی شوروی در ایران داشت، اما پس از 28 مرداد 1332ش. فعالیت­های آن مدتی دچار رکود شد و مجله نیز پس از یک سال از انتشار باز ایستاد. اگر چه انجمن پس از چند سال دوباره فعالیت‌های خود را از سر گرفت، اما هیچ گاه رونق گذشته را بازنیافت. تاکنو پژوهشی مستقل در باره انجمن روابط فرهنگی ایران و اتحاد جماهیر شوروی سوسیالیستی صورت نگرفته است. در این پژوهش کوشش شده است تا با روش کتابخانه­ای و اسنادی و گردآوری داده­ها و با روش تاریخی جریان تاسیس و فعالیت انجمن توصیف و تحلیل شود و به رویدادهایی که به افول آن انجامید، بپردازد.

Association of IranSoviet Cultural Relations At: A Study

In the hectic aftermath of the Allied invasion of Iran and Reza Shah’s abdication the Association of IranSoviet Cultural Relations was established with the aim of cultivating amity and common understanding between the two nations, with subsidiary branches later being established in major cities, namely Tabriz, Mashhad, Gorgan, and Isfahan. The Association played a pivotal role in promoting Soviet cultural diplomacy in Iran in the period 19421953. Following the coup of 1953 (28Mordad Coup d’etat) the Association’s activities lost momentum and ceased to publish its magazine only a year after its first volume. The Association restarted its activities after a couple of years; however, it only managed to be a shadow of its early years. So far, no research has been conducted on the Association of IranSoviet Cultural Relations, thus, the current article has used library and archival sources to study the Association’s establishment, and applied descriptiveanalytical method to assess the circumstances under which it declined.
