تاثیر ارتباطات تاریخی و فرهنگی بر روابط ایران و عمان (با تاکید بر دلایل تاریخی مداخله ایران در ظفار)

ارتباط عمان با ایران قدمتی چند هزار ساله دارد و بخش‌های گسترده‌ای از این سرزمین، از زمان هخامنشیان تا ساسانیان و پس از اسلام، همواره در قلمرو امپراتوری ایران بوده است. پیوستگی‌های سیاسی و تجاری در دوران اسلامی ‌فراز و نشیب‌هایی داشت و در دوره ورود استعمار به منطقه خلیج فارس، به جدایی تدریجی آن سرزمین از قلمرو حاکمیت ایران منجر شد. بنابراین، روابط ایران و عمان تحت تاثیر عوامل جغرافیایی، ژئوپلتیکی و فرهنگی تمدنی، همواره رابطه‌ای متمایز از دیگر کشورهای عربی منطقه بوده است. به همین سبب، دولت ایران در سال‌های 55 – 1351ش. با اعزام نیروهای نظامی‌خود به منطقه آشوب زده ظفار در عمان بر اساس درخواست این کشور، نقش مهم و تعیین کننده‌ای در حفظ استقلال و تمامیت ارضی این سرزمین ایفاء کرد. آیا مسائل مربوط به ژئوپلتیک و ملاحظات امنیتی، سبب مداخله ایران در بحران ظفار و استمرار روابط متقابل در دوران معاصر بوده است؟ در این مقاله علاوه بر نقش عوامل جغرافیایی و ژئوپلتیکی، تاثیر چشمگیر پیوندهای تاریخی و فرهنگی ایران و عمان نیز بر روابط دو کشور بررسی خواهد شد.

The impact of historical and cultural ties on IranOman Relations(With Emphasis on the reasons of Iran’s Intervention in Zuffar Crisis)

OmanIran relations date back to several thousand years ago, From Achamaenids to Sassanids and further to the postIslam era, a vast part of Oman was within the territory of the Persian Empire. During Islamic era up to the establishment of national Iranian government under the Safavid ruling, there were myriads of vicissitudes in political and trade affinities between the two lands and at the eve of colonial era in Persian Gulf, these changes gradually caused Oman to detach from the Empire. Therefore, IranOman relations, influenced by geographical, geopolitical and culturalcivilizational factors, have always been distinct from relations of Iran with other Arabian Countries in the Region. Hence in 1972 to 1977, the Iranian Government dispatched forces to the chaotic region of Zuffar  at the behest of Oman Government and played an important and determining role in preserving autonomy and territorial integrity of the country. Did geopolitical concerns and security observations lead to Iran’s intervention in Zuffar  crisis and cause mutual relations continue to exist during the contemporary era? This article will examine the role of geographical and geopolitical factors as well as the remarkable role of IranOman historical and cultural ties on the two countries relations
