سیر تحول و تطور نمایندگی سیاسی ایران در مصر (از ایجاد کارپردازی تا ارتقاء به سطح سفارت)

مصر مدت‌ها جزئی از امپراتوری عثمانی بود و ایران نخست در آنجا دفتر کارپردازی داشت که به تدریج به سرکنسولگری، نمایندگی سیاسی و سفارت تبدیل شد. با شناخت فراز و نشیب‌های این رابطه، می توان به درک ارتباطات در زمان حاضر دست یافت. ایران از نخستین کشورهایی بود که استقلال مصر را به رسمیت شناخت و رابطه را به سطح سفارت ارتقاء داد. این موضوع  نظر  مصری‌ها را  نسبت به ایران جلب کرد، چندان که در برخی از مشکلات با انگلستان، به نماینده ایران در جامعه ملل متوسل شدند. مقاله حاضر به دنبال آن است تا رابطه ایران و مصر را از زمان تاسیس کارپردازی تا تاسیس سفارت بررسی نماید. در روند بررسی روابط دو کشور از اسناد وزارت امور خارجه استفاده شده است.

Trend of Development and Changes in Iran’s Diplomatic Mission to Egypt(From Chargé d'affaires to Ambassadorial Level Relations)

One of the most important issues in the history of IranEgypt relations is how the relations were established and developed. For a long period of time, Egypt was considered as the territory of Ottoman Empire. Iran primarily established its Chargé d'affaires office in Egypt and gradually upgraded it to consulate, diplomatic mission and embassy.   The present article examines the trend of development in relations between the two countries on the basis of existing documents. Iran and Egypt share a variety of commonalities. By discovering fluctuations of the relations, one can have a better understanding about the present time. Iran was among the first countries which recognized the independence of Egypt and upgraded the relations to embassy level. This drew the attention of Egypt officials to Iran to the extent that they had recourse to the representative of Iran in the UN for some of their problems with Britain.
