چکیده
|
سابقه نخستین اقدام دولت ایران و مکزیک برای ایجاد روابط رسمی، به آغاز قرن بیستم میلادی باز می‌گردد. ایران و مکزیک، با وجود دوری بسیار، تصمیم گرفتند رابطه سیاسی برقرار کنند. در پی مذاکرات میان سفرای دو کشور در واشنگتن، آمادگی برای اعزام سفرای فوق‌العاده فراهم شد و با انعقاد عهدنامه مودت، طرفین از حقوق کاملۀ‌الوداد برخوردار شدند. در این مقاله، با تکیه بر اسناد موجود در آرشیو اداره اسناد و تاریخ دیپلماسی وزارت امور خارجه، روند شکل گیری رابطه میان ایران و مکزیک در دوره قاجار بررسی شده است.

Iran – Mexico Relations in Qajar Period based on the Documents Archives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Abstract
|
The first Diplomatic contact between Iran and Mexico dates back to the beginning of the 20th Century. Although being geographically very remote, the two countries decided to establish diplomatic relations. Following negotiations between the Ambassadors of Iran and Mexico in Washington, the ground was prepared for sending Ambassadors at large, and after signing an agreement of friendship, the two states were entitled to the privileges of the Most Favored Nations principle. The present article examines the formation of IranMexico relations to in Qajar Period based on existing documents at the Archives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
