تحلیلی بر روابط خارجی و مسائل داخلی ایران در جنگ جهانی دوم بر پایه گزارش‌های سر ریدر بولارد

سر ریدر بولارد، یکی از مهم‌ترین دیپلمات‌های انگلیسی در نقاط گوناگون جهان به ویژه در منطقه خاورمیانه، سمت‌های مختلف داشت. از جمله، در مدت زمان جنگ دوم جهانی نخست به عنوان وزیرمختار دولت بریتانیا و سپس سفیرکبیر انگلستان در ایران خدمت می‌کرد. در این بررسیکوشش شده است تا ضمن مرور گذرایی بر سیر روابط ایران و انگلیس در نیمه اول قرن بیستم با تاکید بر خاطرات بولارد، گزارش‌های محرمانه او نیز تجزیه و تحلیل شود. خاطرات وی در ایران و مهم‌تر از آن، گزارش‌های محرمانه او به وزارت امور خارجه انگلیس، چهره روشن‌تری از سیاست‌های بریتانیا در ایران در طول جنگ دوم جهانی به دست می‌دهد.

An Analysis of Foreign Relations and Domestic Affairs of Iran during theSecond World War based on Reports by Sir Reader Bullard

Sir Reader Bullard was a highly influential British Diplomat who during his career as a diplomat had postings in various parts of the world, specifically in the Middle East, among which, he served as Britain’s Minister plenipotentiary and later was appointed as Britain’s Embassador to Iran during World War II. The current analysis aims at giving an overview of the history of AngloIranian relations in the first half of the twentieth century, as elaborated by Bullard in his memoir, and also seeks to analyze the confidential reports compiled by him during his posting in Iran. His memoir in Iran, and more importantly his classified reports to the Foreign & Commonwealth Office depicts a more transparent image of British policies in Iran in the course of the Second World War
