چکیده
|
مطالعات ایران‌شناسی در اتریش، از زمان حمله عثمانی به قلمرو امپراتوری اتریش آغاز شد و از جنگ اول جهانی به بعد در جمهوری فعلی اتریش ادامه یافت. در حال حاضر کرسی و رشته تحصیلی ایران‌شناسی در هیچ یک از دانشگاه‌های کشور اتریش وجود ندارد و فقط در انستیتوی ایران‌شناسی فرهنگستان علوم در زمینه‌های گوناگون ایران‌شناسی تحقیق و پژوهش صورت می‌گیرد. این انستیتو از یک سو، به برنامه کمیسیون سابق برای تالیف نامنامه ایران ادامه می‌دهد و از سوی دیگر، در چارچوب پژوهش‌های علمی، فرهنگ قدیم و جدید ایران و نیز فرهنگ‌های متاثر از تمدن ایرانیدر حوزه تمدن‌های مناطق آسیایی به بررسی و تحقیق می‌پردازد.

Abstract
|
Iranology studies in Austria dates back to the time of the Ottoman invasion of Austrian Empire territories; its kept its momentum after World War I and continued life in the modernday Republic of Austria. For the time being, there are no dedicated Iranology seats or fields of study at any of the Austrian universities, however, research on various aspects of Iran is carried out in the Iranology Institute of the Austrian Academy of Sciences. on the one hand, this Institute builds on the former commission’s programme for the compilation of Iran’s Encyclopedia, and on the other hand, through applying scientific research methodology, it seeks to carry out research and study the ancient and modern Iranian culture and the cultures inspired by Iranian civilization in Asia.
