روابط فرهنگی ایران و ژاپن در دوره پهلوی

از سابقه روابط فرهنگی ایران و ژاپن در ادوار پیشین تا قرن نوزدهم، اطلاعات اندکی در دست است. پس از انقلاب میجی، توجه به کشورهای مشرق زمین از جمله ایران اهمیت یافت. در قرن بیستم به تدریج روابط فرهنگی نیز هم‌پایه روابط سیاسی توسعه یافت: اعزام دانشجو، ایران‌شناسی، باستان‌شناسی و تاسیس نهادهایی مانند انجمن ادبی و کمیته تمدن ایران و ژاپن از مهم‌ترین نشانه‌های گسترش روابط فرهنگی است. در این مقاله، مناسبات فرهنگی دو کشور در دوره پهلوی بر اساس اسناد آرشیو وزارت امور خارجه بررسی خواهد شد.

IranJapan Cultural Relations in the Pahlavi Period

Little is known about the history of cultural relations between Iran and Japan prior to the 19th century. The postMiji revolution Japan assigned more importance to expanding relations with the Orient, namely Iran. Cultural relations developed in parallel with political ties in the twentieth century: student exchange, Iranology, archeology and establishment of various institutions such as the Literature Association and the Committee for IranJapan Civilizations were definitive signs of the cultural element of bilateral relations. The current article has drawn upon the documents found at the Archive of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to study the cultural relations between the two countries.
