تحلیل آرای ابن‌تیمیه درباره امامت و خلافت امام علی (ع)

خلافت علی (ع) بعد از عثمان، محل اتفاق مسلمانان است و علی (ع) تنها خلیفه‌ای است که مردم برای بیعت‌کردن به خانه‌اش هجوم بردند و اصرار کردند که با او بیعت کنند. ابن‌تیمیه، مانند دیگر اندیشمندان، به حوادث دوران خلافت علی (ع) توجه کرده و اصل خلافت حضرت را پذیرفته است. اما درباره حوادث دوران خلافت ایشان دیدگاه‌های متفاوتی را مطرح کرده است که نیاز به بررسی دارد. از باب نمونه، انعقاد خلافت آن حضرت را به دلیل همراهی اهل شوکت و تعدادی از امت درست دانسته اما سپس دچار تردید شده است. وی جنگ‌های رخ‌داده میان علی (ع) و مخالفان را از باب تلاش شخصی برای تثبیت حکومت دانسته است. در حالی که در سیره و گفتار علی (ع) و نیز در منابع تاریخی به تلاش آن حضرت برای تثبیت نظام خلافت به قصد اقامه دین پس از پیامبر (ص) اشاره شده و گزارش‌های تاریخی نیز برخلاف دیدگاه‌های وی است. در این نوشتار که با استفاده از روش کتاب‌خانه‌ای و با مراجعه به آثار ابن‌تیمیه گرد آمده، کوشیده‌ایم آرای کلامی و تاریخی ابن‌تیمیه را تجزیه و تحلیل کنیم. می‌توان گفت مبانی ابن‌تیمیه در این باب کاستی‌های روشنی دارد.

Analysis of Ibn Taymiyyah’s Views on the Imamate and Caliphate of Imam Ali (AS)

The Caliphate of Ali (AS) after Uthman is the consensus of Muslims. Ali (AS) is the only caliph with whom people rushed to his house to pledge allegiance. Ibn Taymiyyah, like other thinkers, has paid attention to the events of the Caliphate of Ali (AS) and has accepted his Caliphate per se, but regarding the events of Ali’s caliphate, he has put forward different views that need to be examined. For example, he considered the establishment of the Caliphate of Ali (AS) to be correct due to the support of the dignitaries and a number of ordinary people, but then he raised some doubts. He considered the wars that took place between Ali (AS) and the opposition as a personal effort to establish the government. However, according to the biography and words of Ali (AS) as well as historical sources, his attempt to establish the caliphate system was intended to revive the religion of Islam after the Prophet (S), and therefore historical reports are contrary to the views of Ibn Taymiyyah. In this article, we have seeks to analyze the theological and historical views of Ibn Taymiyyah by using the library method and referring to his works. As a result, it can be said that Ibn Taymiyyah’s principles have clear shortcomings in this regard.
