نقد شاخص‌های ارتباط میان تشیع و تصوف از دیدگاه محمد عابد الجابری

محمد عابد الجابری (19362010) از اندیشمندان معاصر عرب است که سهمی ویژه در تحول فهم و برداشت از تاریخ اسلام دارد. شیعه‌شناسی جابری حاصل پژوهش‌هایش درباره تشیع است که در آثار او پراکنده است. این نوشتار در صدد پاسخ به این پرسش اصلی است که: شاخص‌های ارتباط میان تشیع و تصوف از دیدگاه جابری چیست؟ هدف پژوهش حاضر بیان دیدگاه جابری درباره یکی‌بودن عوامل پیدایش تشیع و تصوف، و نیز یکی‌بودن آموزه‌های تشیع و تصوف است. در ادامه به نقد دیدگاه جابری می‌پردازیم. روش پژوهش حاضر توصیف دیدگاه جابری در زمینه ارتباط تشیع و تصوف است و با تحلیل دیدگاه او به نقد دیدگاهش خواهیم پرداخت. جابری تشیع را ناقص شناخته و دیدگاهی هم که در این زمینه مطرح می‌کند ناقص است. وی برای یکی‌بودن این دو جریان فکری شاخص‌هایی برمی‌شمرد، اما این شاخص‌ها برای اثبات مدعای یکی‌بودن کافی نیست. بنابراین، نقدهای جدی بر شناخت جابری از تشیع و تصوف وارد است.

A Critique of Parameters of Relation between Shiism and Sufism in Muhammad ‘Abid alJabiri’s View

Muhammad ‘Abid alJabiri (19362010) is a contemporary Arab intellectual who particularly contributed to developments of understanding the history of Islam. AlJabiri’s Shiite studies are results of his research about Shiism which can be found here and there in his work. This paper seeks to answer the following question: What are parameters of relation between Shiism and Sufism in alJabiri’s view? The paper aims at providing an articulation of alJabiri’s view of the identity of factors leading to origination of Shiism and Sufism, as well as his identification of Shiism and Sufism. Then we embark on a critique of alJabiri’s view. The method of this paper is to formulate alJabiri’s view of ShiismSufism relation and to criticize it by providing an analysis thereof. AlJabiri has a flawed understanding of Shiism, and as a consequence, his account of Shiism is defective. He enumerates certain parameters of the two intellectual currents in order to ground their identification, but his parameters do not suffice to support the identification claim. Therefore, alJabiri’s conception of Shiism and Sufism is susceptible to serious objections.
