ابررویدادهای مذهبی: شناسایی چالش‌های تجربۀ زائران در مرحلۀ حین سفر (مورد مطالعه: پیاده‌روی اربعین)

هدف از این پژوهش بررسی چالش‌های تجربی زائران در حین پیاده‌روی اربعین بوده است. پژوهش از نظر هدف کاربردی و از نظر روش گردآوری داده‌ها اکتشافی است. جامعۀ آماری پژوهش فعالان و مسئولان برگزاری این مراسم ازجمله ستاد اربعین، شهرداری، فعالان، مسئولان کاروان‌ها و نیروهای داوطلب در نظر گرفته شد. به‌علت محدود بودن واحد تحلیل (خبرگان)، مطالعه دربارۀ آن‌ها تا اشباع نظری اطلاعات گردآوری‌شده انجام شد و درنهایت هجده نفر برای نمونه انتخاب شدند. داده‌های کیفی به‌دست‌آمده از مصاحبه‌ها با روش تحلیل مضمون تجزیه و تحلیل شده است. براساس نتایج پژوهش، چالش‌های پیش‌روی زائران ایرانی در تجربۀ پیاده‌روی اربعین چهار مقولۀ اصلی و ده مقولۀ فرعی به دست آمد. مقوله‌های اصلی عبارت‌اند از چالش‌های بهداشتی، چالش‌های اقامتی، چالش‌های حمل‌ونقل و چالش‌های فرهنگی اجتماعی. یافته‌های این پژوهش، علاوه‌بر آنکه برای پژوهشگران در زمینۀ ابررویدادها شایان توجه است، اهمیت توجه به تجربۀ چندبعدی زائر و گردشگر و شناسایی چالش‌های آسیب‌زننده به این تجربه را که درنهایت بر نیات رفتاری به‌ویژه بازدید دوباره اثرگذار است، حتی در بافتار گردشگری مذهبی که با انگیزۀ معنویت انجام می‌پذیرد، به مدیران مقصدها و برگزارکنندگان رویدادها به‌ویژه رویدادهای مذهبی یادآور می‌شود.

religious mega events: identifying the challenges of pilgrims' experiences during the travel phase ( the case of arbaeen foot pilgrimage)

in this study, the aim was to investigate the challenges experienced by arbaeen pilgrimage participants during the travel phase. the research is applied in nature, and the data collection method is exploratory. the statistical population of this research included officials involved in organizing the event, such as the arbaeen practitioners includings authorities, activists, volunteers, and others. due to the limited number of experts (unit of analysis), data collection continued until theoretical saturation was reached, resulting in a final sample of 18 participants. thematic analysis was employed to analyze the qualitative data obtained from the interviews. according to the research findings, the challenges encountered by iranian pilgrims during the arbaeen pilgrimage were categorized into four main themes and ten sub-themes. the main categories include: health challenges, accommodation challenges, transportation challenges, and socio-cultural challenges. in addition to providing valuable insights for researchers studying mega-events, the findings of this study underscore the importance for destination managers and event organizers, particularly those managing religious events, to recognize the multidimensional nature of pilgrim and tourist experiences and to identify the challenges that could negatively impact these experiences. this, in turn, affects behavioral intentions, especially the likelihood of revisiting, even within the context of religious tourism, which is motivated by spirituality
