نقش گیاهان اساطیری و مقدس در هنر ساسانی (با تاکید بر نقوش برجسته و فلزکاری)

گیاهان در آیین و ادیان مختلفِ باستان اهمیت ویژه­ای­داشتهو برخی از آن‌ها به دلایل مختلف جایگاه مقدس و اسطوره‌اییافته‌اندکه برگرفته از اعتقادات و باورهای دینی و مذهبی انسان­ها بوده و علاوه بر آن در زندگی عملی آن‌ها نیز تاثیر بسزایی داشته و بر اساس همین ویژگی‌ها، در هنر هر دورانی بازتاب یافته‌اند. در ایرانِ باستان نیز شماری از گیاهان، از اهمیت ویژه­ای برخوردار بوده و مقدس شمرده می‌شدند. نخست در دوره­ی هخامنشیان که هنر ایران به سبکی منسجم دست­یافت و بر اساس تعالیم زرتشت و باورهای اعتقادی، نمادهای گیاهی در هنر آن‌ها نمود فراوانی پیدا کرد. ساسانیان نیز که خود را وارث هنر هخامنشی می‌دانستند، این نمادها و اسطوره‌های گیاهی را همچنان در آثار هنریِ مختلف خود نشان داده و حفظ کردند. در این پژوهش که به روش توصیفی تحلیلی و به شیوه­ی کتابخانه­ای تنظیم‌شده است، به شناخت گیاهان اساطیری و مقدس، تعیین خاستگاه این نمادهای اسطوره­ای و اهمیت و نقش آن‌ها در هنر دوران ساسانی پرداخته‌شدهاست. یافته­ها بیانگر این است که استفاده از نقوش گیاهان اساطیری و مقدس در هنر ساسانی ورای جنبه تزیینی، کاربرد نمادین و اعتقادی داشته و به عبارتی ریشه در باورهای مذهبی آن دوره دارد؛ نمادهایی که بیانگر شگون و برکت، خیرخواهی، باروری، جاودانگی و مانایی و همچنین دوام سلطنت و قدرت بوده‌اند.

The role of mythological and Sacred Plants in Sassanid Art(With emphasis on relief, metalworking and stucco)

AbstractPlants had a special importance in different ancient religions and cultures and due to different reasons some of them had sacred and mythological status which was derived from people’s religious beliefs. They also had significant impacts on people’s practical lives and based on these features they were manifested in art of each era. In ancient Iran, some plants had specific importance and were considered as sacred plants. In Achaemenid era when Iranian art achieved a coherent style, plant symbols were widely represented in this art which were according to Zarathustra’s teachings and beliefs. Sassanid who thought themselves as the heir of Achaemenian art, continued to use and keep these plant symbols and myths in their various art works. By applying descriptiveanalytical research method and librarybased documents, this paper attempts to provide recognition of mythological and Sacred Plants, determination of the origins of these mythological and their importance and roles in Sassanid art. The research results present that the use of motifs of mythological and Sacred Plants served decorative, symbolic and religious purposes. In another word, they were rooted in religious beliefs of that era and they symbolized blessing, mercifulness, fertility, immortality, and even the continuity of monarchy and authority.
