بررسی دلایل مصرف الکل در دوران پاندمی کووید- 19: یک مطالعه مقطعی

زمینه و هدف: به موازات افزایش تعداد مبتلایان به بیماری کووید- 19 در ایران، افزایش موارد مسمومیت با الکل گزارش شد. همزمانی این دو شیوع همگانی سبب شد تا محققین مطالعه حاضر را با هدف تعیین دلایل مصرف الکل در برهه پاندمی کووید- 19 انجام دهند. روش کار: این مطالعه، یک پژوهش مقطعی بود که در بازه زمانی اسفند 1398 تا فروردین 1399 انجام شد. در این مطالعه تمامی پرونده های پزشکی بیماران بستری شده در بیمارستان امام خمینی (ره) اردبیل به دلیل سوءمصرف الکل (182 بیمار) با استفاده از چک لیست محقق ساخته مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. داده های جمع آوری شده با نرم افزار spss-22 و با استفاده از شاخص های آماری مرکزی و پراکندگی برای بررسی میزان و نحوه توزیع متغیرها مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفت.یافته ها: از 182 بیمار بستری شده، 168 نفر دلیل اصلی سوءمصرف خود را ترس از کرونا ذکر کردند. بیشترین نوع الکل مصرفی (88.5%)، متانول بود. شایعترین علایم بیماران، تهوع (84.1%) و اختلالات بینایی (65.9%) بود. 159 نفر (87.4%) دچار عوارض و مشکلات شدید کلیوی شدند و 10 نفر (5.5%) از بیماران فوت کردند. نتیجه گیری: با توجه به افزایش مصرف الکل در زمان پاندمی کووید- 19 و اثرات مخرب آن، به نظر می رسد آموزش همگانی و افزایش دانش در ارتباط با خطرات مصرف الکل و اصول صحیح پیشگیری و درمان بیماری در زمان پاندمی، ضروری است.

examining the causes of alcohol consumption during thecovid-19 pandemic: a cross-sectional study

background & aim: alcohol poisoning was reported in parallel with the increase in the number of patients with covid-19 disease in iran. the coincidence of these two widespread outbreaks has prompted researchers to pay attention to a study aimed at investigating the reasons for alcohol consumption during the covid-19 pandemic. methods: the present study was a retrospective cross-sectional study that examined the files of 182 patients hospitalized between march 2020 and april 2020 in imam khomeini hospital in ardabil using a checklist and a census method. the collected data were analyzed by spss software version 22 using central statistical indicators and dispersion to examine the amount and distribution of variables.results: out of 182 patients admitted due to alcohol poisoning, 168 patients stated that their reason for abuse was fear of corona virus. the most common type of alcohol consumed was methanol. the most common symptoms of the patients were nausea and visual disturbances. of these, 159 patients suffered serious kidney complications and 10 patients died.conclusion: considering the increase in alcohol consumption during the covid-19 pandemic and its destructive effects, it seems that public education and increasing knowledge about the dangers of alcohol consumption and the correct principles of prevention and treatment of the disease during a pandemic are essential.
