Phase change materials and their textile applications [Faz de{eth}ý{thorn}týren maddeler ve tekstýl uygulamalari]

The interest and demand for innovative textile products and manufacturing technologies show a rapid increase. one of the innovations on which researches continue intensively is to develop smart textile products with heat storage and thermo-regulating properties. these textile products are manufactured by applying phase change materials to textile fibers or fabrics. textiles containing phase change materials are used to develop thermal comfort of clothing and to manufacture the products with thermo-regulating,heating and cooling properties. in this study,phase change materials (pcms) used for textiles and microcapsules containing pcms (micro pcms) are introduced. application methods of pcms to textiles are also explained.
