In this study,effects of detergents,which are widely used today,on the dimension stability,fabric structure,abrasion resistance and color changes of coloured plain knitted fabrics that are made of different cotton blends were investigated after repeated laundering. the fabric samples contain 100% cotton,cotton-viscose,cotton-polyester and cotton-viscose-polyester. in this study,the detergents that cause the least harmful effects of laundry on the fabrics were tried to be determined and the samples containing different fibres were compared with each other in terms of their post-laundry performances. © 2012.
