چکیده    In this study, subjective wear trials were conducted on 8 surgeons in operating rooms to investigate comfort performances of surgical gowns,an important component of medical protective equipments. comfort performances of polypropylene ssmms (s:spunlace,m:meltblown) and cellulose/polyester spunlace disposable and cotton/polyester woven reusable gowns were investigated by subjective evaluations. according to the results, ssmms disposable gown was felt significantly to be warmer and damper, hence, its comfort performance was lower than the other gowns. moreover, according to the sensory descriptive evaluations considering other aspects of comfort, disposable surgical gowns have lower comfort performances than the woven reusable gown and this result can be attributed to their insufficient permeability values and 'papery' feeling perceived by the surgeons.
