Investigation of effects of washing processes on fabric strength and elongation for selected denim fabric [Seçi̇lmi̇ş deni̇m kumaşta yikama türünün kumaş mukavemeti̇ ve uzamasi üzeri̇ndeki̇ etki̇leri̇ni̇n araştirilmasi]

In this study,the effects of different washing types on the selected denim fabric's strength and elongation were researched. for this aim,3 different washing processes (rinse,enzyme and enzymatic stone washing) were determined. fabric strength and elongation values were mesured before and after washing. the test results were statistically analysed with spss and the effects of washing types on denim fabrics were interpreted. according to the results,each washing processes decreased the fabric strength and,maximum strength loss was observed after enzymatic stone washing. rinse washing process did not have significant effect on the strength and elongation values but enzym and enzymatic stone washing processes decreased fabric elongation in both warp and weft directions.
