چکیده
|
The apocryphal arabic literature about the dormition collected in clavis apocryphorum nov testament(turnhout,1992) deals the dogma of the incarnation referentially. this literature employs three terms in order to name the hypostatic union in christ these terms also appear in apologetic and dogmatic works of christian arabic literature. the texts use ittihad to name the hypostatic union of the two natures in christ without separation and without division; they use ta'annus to express how the word becomes human; and they use tagassud to explain how the word takes mary's flesh. if these terms are considered in context,it can be established clearly what each term means appoint .it seems that these three words are very close to some terms used by the greek fathers in theirs works. this article present the fragments of the eight texts catalogued in clavis (four of them were unpublished) and the fragments of other text that is not in this catalogue and dealing the incarnation of christ.
