چکیده
|
The nonketotic hyperglycemic syndrome is rare in pediatric population,associated with significant mortality. this syndrome is characterized by severe hyperglycemia,a marked increase in serum osmolality and dehydration without accumulation of b-hydroxybutyric acid or acetoacetic acid and acetone. we report an unusual case of nkhs in a female infant who has severe hyperglycemia in associationwith gastroenteritis.
