Thrombocytopenia is the most common and important hematological abnormality in newborns. a baby girl who’s mother was a known case of itp,developed thrombocytopenia and bleeding manifestations. she was treated with ivig and the outcome was excellent. © 2014,pakistan pediatric journal. all rights reserved.
