چکیده
|
Malakoplakia is rare granulomatous inflammatory disease,effecting mainly mucosa of lower urinary tract,but gastrointestinal system especially colon is second most common site of occurrence. in this paper we have reported 9 years old girl who presented with chronic bloody diarrhea,fever and weight lose. on colonoscopy there was inflamed colonic mucosa with circumferential,ulceration,granulation tissue and skipped areas with normal intervening mucosa but histopathology was suggestive of michealis-gutmann bodies,diagnostic for malakoplakia. © 2015,pakistan pediatric journal. all rights reserved.
