Frequency of placenta previa with previous caesarean section

Aim: to find the frequency of placenta previa among women having up to three caesarean sections.study design: it was a cross sectional descriptive study.place and duration: the study was completed in six month from 19thfebruary to 19thjuly,2009 in obstetrics and gynaecology unit-ii,sir ganga ram hospital,lahore.methods: 210 women with history of previous caesarean section up to 3 were included.conclusion: women with previous caesarean sections are at higher risk for placenta previa,so the rising rate of caesarean section should be controlled. © 2014 pakistan journal of medical and health sciences. all rights reserved.
