چکیده
|
Aim: to find out the differences between the rural and urban population with conversion disorder regarding the sociodemography and symptomatology. duration: july 2009 to june 2011. results & conclusion: out of 400 participants 161(40.25%) were from rural and 239(59.75%) from the urban areas. female to male ratio was 4:1 and 66% of the study population was from the age group of 15 to 25. the differences regarding the symptomatology,we found that the convulsive category of symptoms was more frequent in the rural than in the urban population.
