نقد و بررسی قواعد «آنسلم» در شناخت «موجود کامل»

«الهیات کمال» رویکردی است که با تکیه بر تعریف خدا به موجودی که در تمام جنبه‌ها کامل است، به تفسیر مفهوم خدا و تحلیل صفات او می‌پردازد. آنسلم نخستین کسی است که تحلیلی نظام‌مند از مفهومِ موجود کامل ارائه می‌دهد. از آنجا که مباحث بعدیِ فیلسوفان واکنشی به نظرات اوست، لذا تبیین آراء وی اهمیت خاصی دارد. در این مقاله بر اساس روش توصیفی، تحلیلی به این پرسش پرداخته می‌شود که بر اساس دیدگاه آنسلم، چه قواعدی را می‌توان برای شناخت تفصیلیِ موجود کامل و همچنین استخراج صفات الهی به کار گرفت. هدف این مقاله تبیین نقاط ضعف و قوت دیدگاه آنسلم است. در مجموع می‌توان پنج قانون کلی را از عبارات آنسلم استخراج کرد؛ او ابتدا سعی می‌کند بر پایه‌ مقایسه میان موجودات جهان به این هدف برسد. مهم‌ترین نقد این شیوه آن است که نمی‌تواند مهم‌ترین هدف الهیات کمال، یعنی استخراج صفات الهی را به درستی تامین کند. آنسلم در موضعی دیگر، مقایسه میان وضعیت‌های مختلفِ یک موجود را محور کار قرار می‌دهد. او در آثار بعدی‌اش همین شیوه را دنبال می‌کند و در نهایت به این نتیجه می‌رسد که چون خداوند در بالاترین وضعیتِ قابل تصور قرار دارد، بنابراین هر امر قابل تصوری را که اتصاف به آن بهتر از عدم اتصاف به آن است، باید دارا باشد. می‌توان قاعده‌ نهایی آنسلم را پس از انجام اصلاحاتی، قابل دفاع دانست؛ به این صورت که با اضافه کردن قیودی، امکان تعارض بین صفاتی را که خداوند می‌تواند در نظر ابتدایی داشته باشد، لحاظ ‌گردد.

the critique of anselm’s principles in understanding the perfect being

the “theology of perfection” is an approach that interprets the concept of god and analyzes his attributes, relying on the definition of god as a being who is perfect in all aspects. anselm is the first to offer a systematic analysis of the concept of perfect being. since the subsequent discussions of philosophers are a reaction to his views, it is of special importance to explain his views. in this article, based on the descriptive-analytical method, we address the question that according to anselm’s view, what rules can be used for attaining a detailed knowledge about the perfect being and extraction of divine attributes as well? our purpose in this article is to explain the strengths and weaknesses of anselm’s view. in total, five general rules can be derived from anselm’s expressions; he first tries to achieve this goal based on comparisons between the creatures of the universe. the most important criticism of this method is that it cannot properly provide the most important goal of perfection theology, that is, the extraction of divine attributes. in another position, anselm makes the comparison between different states of a being the focus of the work. he follows the same method in his later works and finally comes to the conclusion that because god is in the highest imaginable state, therefore, he must have every imaginable thing that is better to be attributed to than not to be attributed to it. anselm’s final rule can be considered defensible after making some reforms; taking into account, by adding some limitations, the possibility of conflict between the attributes that god can have in the primary view.
