چکیده
|
در سال 1396 بحث تصویب قانون منع واردات محصولات تراریخته موجب گرم شدن مباحثات عمومی درباره زیست فناوری کشاورزی شد. رسانه‌ها با پوشش اخبار مربوطه، بر کیفیت این مباحث و درک عمومی از این فناوری تاثیر گذاشتند. این موضوع، اهمیت مطالعه چگونگی پوشش رسانه‌ای و چارچوب بندی اخبار زیست فناوری کشاورزی را بیشتر کرد. در این پژوهش، اخبار سه خبرگزاری پربازدید ایران برای بازه زمانی 13 ساله با روش انتمن تحلیل چارچوب شده‌اند. نتایج نشان می‌دهند که تنها 4.2 درصد از اخبار منتشر شده در حوزه زیست فناوری به زیست فناوری کشاورزی مربوطند و بقیه درباره زیست فناوری پزشکی هستند. در بازه زمانی 1394 تا 1396 تعداد اخبار مربوط به زیست فناوری کشاورزی افزایش یافته و جریان غالب خبری در هر سه خبرگزاری با رویکرد مثبت و غیرانتقادی چارچوب‌بندی شده است. چهار چارچوب شناسایی‌شده عبارتند از مدیریت زیست فناوری کشاورزی، اثرات آن، جلب حمایت برای توسعه آن و درک عمومی از آن.

Framing Agricultural Biotechnology in Iranian News Agencies between 2005 and 2017

Abstract
|
In 2017, the debate over approving the ban on the import of transgenic crops caused increased public debates on the disadvantages or benefits of agricultural biotechnology in Iran. This increased the importance of studying how media coverage and frame agricultural biotechnology news. In this study, the news of three top Iranian news agencies over a 13year period has been analyzed. Entman’s method is used for doing frame analysis. A review of all the biotech news shows that most of them are related to medical biotechnology and only 4.12 percent of the news covers agricultural biotechnology. The number of news on agricultural biotechnology has also increased dramatically between 2015 and 2017. All three news agencies have a noncritical and positive judgment towards this technology and its potential. The four frames identified include “management of agricultural biotechnology”, “effects of agricultural biotechnology”, “seeking support of agricultural biotechnology” and “public understanding of agricultural biotechnology”.
