چکیده
|
The aim of this study is to find out how much space is allowed for turkish-muslim scientists in science and technology lesson curriculum and textbooks. in the study,document analysis (were) was processed by qualitative data gathering methods. in the acquisitions of the science and technology curriculum restructured in 2004,how the science history was covered and how it was reflected on the textbooks published by ministry of education was determined. then,some turkish-muslim scientists in these books were found. at the end of the study,it is seen that contributions of different cultures and civilizations (contribution) to science have been mentioned in the curriculum coverage. however,it is determined that turkish-muslim scientists and their contributions to science were not mentioned sufficiently enough. the names included in the textbooks are; ali ku{thorn}çu,ulu{eth} bey,bursalỳ kadỳzade rumi,gỳyaseddin cem{thorn}id,muinuddin ka{thorn}i,farabi,ýbn-i sina and ýbn-i miskeveyh.
