   Analysis of science and tecnology teachers' views about science education process in terms of 5E model [Fen ve Teknoloji Öǧretmenlerinin Fen Öǧretim Süreçleriyle İlgili Görüşlerinin 5E modeli Açisindan İncelenmesi]

چکیده    Teachers that perform,continue and evaluate the education program are one of the significant members of education process. it can be said that the success of constructivist approach relies on teachers' performance to carry out their duties effectively and productively. in this respect,the aim of this study was to reveal how much do the beliefs of science and technology teachers correspond to the principles of constructivist approach's 5e model. qualitative research design was used in the study which was carried out in trabzon city center on 2010-2011 academic years' during the spring semester. 14 science and technology teachers from five different elementary school participated in the study. data of the study was gathered with semi-structured interviews. the gathered data from these interviews were organized with descriptive and content analyses. it was seen that science and technology teachers carried out the activities that should be done in introduction,explanation and evaluation processes of 5e model,while they couldn't carry out the activities in exploring and elaboration that are set forth by the constructivist theory. as a result,it was revealed that most of the teachers that participated in the study tried to carry out the steps of constructivist theory's 5e model,but they were still carrying the traces of behavioral approach. some suggestions were made according to the results obtained from the study.
