چکیده
|
Intrusive luxation often results in severe damage to the tooth, periodontium, and pulp tissue. furthermore, treatment outcome is often unpredictable due to the presence of numerous injuryrelated variables affecting the treatment option and prognosis. the current report presents the case of a 14yearold boy with a 9.0 mm intruded permanent right maxillary central incisor with a closed apex which was treated by orthodontic repositioning and root canal treatment with a favorable prognosis. at the last followup visit (30 months after the first treatment session), the tooth was asymptomatic, and radiographic examination showed normal periapical and periodontal appearance.
