A case of methanol intoxication admitted to hospital with headache [Baş aʇrisi ile başvuran metanol intoksikasyonu olgusu]

Methil alcohol (methanol) is a toxic substance which is present in industrial paint,polish and many other products and has a similar taste. methanol intoxication may cause severe illnesses and death. we discuss a case of methanol intoxication who,admitted to the hospital with progressive visual loss after severe headache and acute renal failure,and died on the day 32 of followup. methanol level can not be measured in patients with chronic alcohol use,so the headache may be the first sign of methanol intoxication.
