Anesthesia in the robotic surgery [Roboti̇k cerrahi̇de anestezi̇]

Today,as a result of the developments in technology,a number of operations can be performed via robotic surgery. as the development of robot continues,more cases of robotic surgery will be carried out; thus,the anesthesiologists will be confronted with a number of robotic surgery cases. the prostatectomy operation is performed most frequently by way of robot. therefore,in this article,while the laparoscopic prostatectomy performed in the steep trendelenburg position via robot will be examined in detail,other operations performed by robot will be mentioned more briefly and by the investigation of the physiologic changes which occur during the operation,the issues to be taken into consideration for the patients' safety in the pre and postoperative period and during the administration of the anesthesia will be emphasized.
