Anesthesia for cancer patients [Kanser hastalarinda anestezi̇]

The number of anesthetic procedures in patients who have received or have been receiving cancer therapy has been increasing. some changes in major organ or system functions may be observed in these patients due to various reasons. these changes may affect and even change the planned anesthesia procedure. the aim of this report is to present the up-to-date data about the possible changes in the anesthesia plan in patients who have received or have been receiving cancer therapy and the possible effects of anesthesia on the development of cancer and metastasis.
