Nitrous oxide leakage in anesthesia device [Anestezi Cihazinda Görülen Nitröz Oksit Kaçaʇi]

Before the entrance of the first patient into operating room,an anesthesia device was switched on,and the self-check was automatically initiated before its use in anesthesia. a sound resembling that of an aspirator device was heard in the operating room after the self-check was completed. when we examined the cause of failure by the technical service center manifold nitrous oxide gas system which is closed in the sudden pressure increase after the opening of the connection has been reported as causing separation by expanding. in conclusion,the anesthesia team should be alert in cases where such malfunctions can occur. furthermore,the researchers consider it necessary for the operating safety to make available devices that measure anesthetic gases in the operating room and sound alarm when the limits values are exceeded.
