چکیده    Many operations can be done as robotics thanks to technological advances. with the widespread use of robotic surgery, patients with comorbid pathology and surgical indication can be operated. deep trendelenburg (45°) position and pneumoperitoneum used during robotic surgery causes systemic changes that makes anesthetic management spesific. in current literature there are a few cases related to laparoscopic surgery that includes robotic surgery with lung problems. our patient,a 65-years-old male, pneumonectomized 10 years ago due to lung cancer and treated with gamma knife 4 years ago for brain metastasis. there was no significant value other than preoperative breathing test's forced vital capaicty was fvc:1,52 (39%) first second expiratory voume was fev1:1,32 (43%). after anesthesia induction desflurane, remifantanyl and o2/air was used. breath rate was increased if end tidal co2 was above 50 mmhg or in blood gase paco2 was elevated. with a careful follow up and monitorisation the procedure was completed without any complication and the patient was discharged after 3 days. in this case report we aim to share our experience of anesthetic management for robotic prostatectomy on a patient who had performed right pneumonectomy.
