رابطه خلیفه‌الله (انسان کامل) و ملائکه از منظر قرآن و عرفان

نسبت انسان کامل، یا به تعبیر روایات «خلیفه‌الله»، با فرشتگان از جمله معارفی است که در حوزه علوم دینی و عرفانی بسیار مهم و اساسی است. عرفان، که عصاره‌اش نظام وحدت وجود است، هستی را دارای مراتبی می‌داند که هر کدام ویژگی‌های خاص و مستقلی دارند. مثلاً محل حضور فرشتگان که از ماده مجرد بوده‌اند اقرب به مقام وحدت است، حال آنکه انسان در عالم ماده مستقر است. از طرفی انسان کامل مظهر اسم اعظم خدا است و موجودات دیگر مظاهر دیگر اسمای کلّی و جزئی او هستند و چون اسم اعظم بر همه اسماء محیط است و در تمام آنها سریان و جریان دارد، بنابراین خلیفه‌الله نه‌تنها بر همه موجودات، از جمله ملائکه، احاطه دارد و در جمیع آنها ساری و جاری است، بلکه ملائکه خادمان او و به مثابه عضوی از اعضا یا شانی از شئون او هستند.
