نورعلی‌شاه اصفهانی در منابع صوفیه و غیرصوفیه

تصوف، جریانی اسلامی است که در میان اکثریت اهل ‌سنّت آغاز شد و فراز و نشیب‌های فراوانی را پشت سر گذاشت. صوفیان ایران، که در اواخر دوران صفویه منزوی شده بودند، کوشیدند با «تجدید عهد با گذشته» به حیات کم‌رمق خود جانی دوباره ببخشند. از پیشروان این نهضت، نورعلی‌شاه اصفهانی (متوفای 1212 ه.ق.) بود که با عنوان «شیخ‌المشایخ» سلسله نعمت‌اللهیه، شاگردانی در دامان خود پرورانید. از آنجا که گزارش‌ها و قضاوت‌های تاریخی درباره او بسیار متفاوت بلکه متناقض است، بازخوانی شخصیت دینی او، آثار، شاگردان و اندیشه‌هایش در منابع صوفیه و غیرصوفیه ضرورتی انکارناپذیر است. زیرا از یک ‌سو مخالفان او، از فقهای دوران‌اند و از سوی دیگر، رویارویی با همه یا بخشی از داشته‌های دینی و معنوی او بسیار دشوار است. بنابراین، در این پژوهش می‌کوشیم با مطالعه کتاب‌خانه‌ای، زندگی، آثار، شاگردان، مریدان و باورهای نورعلی‌شاه اصفهانی را توصیف و تحلیل کنیم و با بازخوانی تاریخ به شناخت دقیق‌تری از او دست یابیم. از همین‌رو، با دوری از بحث و نزاع، تاریخ و عقاید وی را در منابع صوفیه و غیرصوفیه بررسی می‌کنیم و نشان می‌دهیم بر پایه گزارش‌های تاریخی و محتوای آثار او و شاگردانش، این قضاوت‌ها بیشتر بر پایه غلبه پیش‌داوری‌ها بوده و به افراط و تفریط انجامیده است.

sufism is an islamic current which started among the majority of sunnies and underwent so many ups and downs. sufies in iran, who have been isolated in late saffavid reign, renewing the past covenant made effort to revive themselves.  of the pioneers of this movement, nour ali shah isfahani (d. 1212 h) can be named who, as sheikh almashayekh (the greatest sheikh) in ne’matullahieh dynasty, trained a number of students. since the historical reports and judgements regarding him are various but contradictory, rereading his religious character, works, pupils and thoughts in sufi and nonesufi sources are undeniably necessary. because on the one hand his opponents are of the jurists of the time and on the other hand opposing all or part of his religious and spiritual power is no easy task. thus, in this article, it is tried to describe and analyze nour ali shah isfahani’s life, works, pupils, followers and beliefs applying librarybased approach aimg to achieve more exact understanding of him through rereading the history. to do so, avoiding any kind of argument and dispute, his belifes and history is investigated in sufi and nonesufi sources and taking historical reports and the content of his works as well as his students into account it is shown that these judgements have mostly been based on prejudgements and have led to extremes.
