واکاوی واژه «اهل البیت» در اندیشه فریقین با تاکید بر منابع اهل سنت

آشنایی با عمق معنای واژه ها و فرایند تحول آنها در بستر زمان و مکان، نقش بسزایی در فهم متون دینی دارد و اختلاف در فهم واژه ها تاثیر شگرفی در بروز تفاوت‌های فکری و حتی انشعاب مذاهب ایفا می‌کند. شواهد تاریخی نشان می دهد با ظهور اسلام، واژه های جدیدی وارد محاورات عمومی گشت، چنان که بسیاری از واژه ها نیز از وضع اولیه در محاورات مردمی فاصله و معنای جدیدی به خود گرفتند. یکی از این واژه‌ها، واژه «اهل البیت» بود که هرچند از لغات متداول ترکیب شد، کاملاً رنگ خاص مذهبی به خود گرفت و مورد توجه و عنایت مسلمانان واقع شد. پرسش این است که رویکرد مسلمانان در تبیین معنای واژه مزبور چه تفاوت‌هایی دارد و کدام رویکرد با واقعیت منطبق است. هدف این مقاله ارائه رویکردها و بیان دیدگاه منتخب با تاکید بر منابع اهل سنت با روش توصیفی تحلیلی است و یافته های آن نیز حاکی از جدایی بین وضع لغوی و معنای مصطلح دینی می باشد.

A Consideration of the Word "Ahl alBayt" in Sunni and Shia Thoughts with Focus on Sunni Sources

Understanding the meaning of words and the process of their evolution in the context of time and place has a great role in comprehending religious texts, and differences in understanding words greatly affect the emergence of intellectual differences and even sectarian divisions. Historical pieces of evidence suggest that with the advent of Islam, new words found their way into the public discourse, just as many words diverging from their original senses took on new meanings in public conversations. One of these words was "Ahl alBayt", which despite being a combination of two common words, took on a distinctly religious color and was widely adopted by Muslims. The question is: what are the differences in the approach of Muslims to explain the meaning of the word and which approach is accurate? The purpose of this article is to present the approaches and offer the espoused viewpoint with focus on Sunni sources through a descriptive and analytical method, and its findings indicate a distinction between the lexical meaning and the religious meaning.
