بررسی انتقادی دیدگاه علامه طباطبایی در باره زن در گذر تاریخ

علامه سیدمحمدحسین طباطبایی (12811360) در برترین یادگار دانشی خویش، یعنی المیزان فی تفسیر القرآن، به‌فراوانی به مباحث گوناگون نظری و رویدادهای تاریخی ازجمله موضوع «زن در گذر تاریخ» پرداخته است. بازه زمانی بررسی موضوع زن در المیزان از مرحله پیشاتاریخ (پیش از هبوط) تا دوران معاصر را در بر می‌گیرد؛ ولی نوشتار حاضر تنها به بررسی وضعیت زنان با تکیه بر حقوق فردی، حقوق خانوادگی و حقوق اجتماعی آنان در جوامع گوناگون در دوران تاریخی (پس از هبوط و پیش از دوران معاصر) اختصاص یافته و طی آن دوره‌بندی و محورهای موردتوجه علامه طباطبایی گزارش و نقد شده است. اهتمام گسترده یک مفسر به مباحث تاریخی در دوران مهجوریت و حاشیه‌نشینی دانش تاریخ در حوزه‌های علمیه ستودنی است؛ اما در مقام بررسی انتقادی نگاه علامه طباطبایی و بر اساس یافته‌های این پژوهش می‌توان ملاحظاتی را درباره نگاه ایشان به زن در گذر تاریخ به این شرح مطرح کرد: غیرمستند بودن تقریباً تمامی گزارش‌ها و داوری‌ها درباره زن در تاریخ ملت‌ها؛ ابهام در منطق تقسیم‌بندی دوره‌های تاریخی، پایبند نبودن به رعایت توالی زمانی جوامع و رویدادها؛ سستی یا نادرستی گزاره‌های مربوط به تحلیل رخدادها؛ مغالطه در سنجش‌های منتهی به داوری درباره مقایسه وضعیت زنان در دوران پیش از اسلام و در دوره اسلامی؛ ناهم‌ترازی زبان بیان مباحث تاریخی با زبان مباحث مربوط به شاخه‌های دانشی دیگر؛ اثرپذیری از نگاه یک‌سره منفی و تاریک درباره جایگاه زنان پیش از اسلام.

A Critical Study of Allameh Tabataba’i’s Attitude about Women throughout History

In his leading work, alMizan fi Tafsir alQuran, Sayyid Muhammad Husayn Tabataba’i’s (19021981), has discussed in detail about various theoretical issues as well as historical events including the issue of "Woman throughout History". The time frame for examining the foresaid issue in alMizan, extends from the prehistoric period (before Adam’s Descent) to the contemporary era. However, the present study only examines the status of women by highlighting their individual, family, and social rights in different communities throughout history (merely after the Descent and before the contemporary period). It also provides a review as well as a criticism by discussing eras and issues concerned by Allameh. Indeed, immense involvement of a commentator in historical issues, during the time that the knowledge of history was neglected or marginalized in Islamic seminaries, is really praiseworthy; however, as a critical review of Allameh Tabataba’i’s perspective the findings of this study may reveal some observations about his view on the issue of women in the course of history including: undocumented nature of almost all reports and judgments on women in the history of nations, ambiguous logic of classification of historical periods, not adhering to observe the time sequence in communities and events, loose or inaccurate propositions on the analysis of events, fallacy in evaluations leading to judgments on comparing the status of women in preIslamic period with the Islamic period, misaligned account of the language employed for expressing historical issues with that of other branches of knowledge, and getting influenced by a wholly negative and dark outlook on the status of women before the advent of Islam.
