relationship between religious attitude and patience in nursing and midwifery students in shiraz, iran, in 2015

Background and objectives: medical students experience various stressors during their academic education . despite the positive role of two factors of religious attitude and patience on students' mental health, there is a dearth of studies on the relationship between religious attitudes and patience in nursing and midwifery students. therefore, to promote students' mental health in the face of existing s tressors related to education and presence in clinical environments, the present study aimed to assess the relationship between religious attitudes and patience in nursing and midwifery students. methods: this descriptive analytical study was performed on 139 nursing and midwifery students of shiraz university of medical sciences in 2015. the participants were selected via simple random sampling. data collection tools included demographic characteristics form, evans patience questionnaire, and religion atti tude scale review. data were analyzed in spss software (version 22) using descriptive statistics, independent t test, and pearson correlation coefficientcoefficient. results: as evidenced by the obtained results, the mean scores of religious attitude and patience wer e obtained at 97.21±15.5 and 45.94±8.99, respectively. there was no statistically significant difference between the mean scores of religious attitude and patience based on demographic characteristics of age, gender, the field of study, and marital status (p>0.05). according to the pearson correlation test, there was a significant relationship between the two variables of religious attitude and patience (r= 0.343; p= 0.0001). conclusion: the results of the present study suggested that students with higher l evels of religious attitude showed greater patience. therefore, the promotion of students’ religious attitudes may lead to their greater patience in patient care, which in turn, brings substantial benefits to patients, families, and even the organization organization.

بررسی ارتباط نگرش مذهبی و شکیبایی در دانشجویان پرستاری و مامایی شیراز، 1394

سابقه و هدف: دانشجویان علوم پزشکی در طول تحصیل خود با عوامل تنش زای متعددی مواجهند. با توجه به نقش مثبت دو فاکتور نگرش مذهبی و شکیبایی بر سلامت روان دانشجویان و بر اساس مطالعات محدودی که در زمینه ی ارتباط  نگرش مذهبی  و صبر در دانشجویان پرستاری و مامایی انجام شده است، در راستای ارتقای سلامت روان دانشجویان در برابر عوامل استرس زای موجود مرتبط با تحصیل و حضور در محیط بالینی ، این مطالعه با هدف بررسی ارتباط بین نگرش مذهبی و صبر در دانشجویان پرستاری و مامایی انجام گردیده است.روش کار: این مطالعه توصیفی تحلیلی بر روی 139 دانشجوی پرستاری و مامایی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی شیراز  در سال 1394 انجام شد. نمونه ها به روش نمونه گیری تصادفی ساده انتخاب شدند. ابزار گردآوری اطلاعات شامل فرم مشخصات دموگرافیک، پرسشنامه شکیبایی ایوانز و پرسشنامه نگرش مذهبی RASR  بود. داده ها با استفاده از آمار توصیفی، آزمون تی مستقل و ضریب همبستگی پیرسون توسط نرم افزار SPSS نسخه‌ی 22 تجزیه و تحلیل شدند.یافته‌ها: بر اساس نتایج مطالعه، میانگین نگرش مذهبی5/15 ± 21/97 و میانگین نمره شکیبایی 99/8  ± 94/45 بود. بین میانگین نگرش مذهبی و شکیبایی بر اساس خصوصیات دموگرافیک سن، جنسیت، رشته و وضعیت تأهل تفاوت آماری معناداری وجود نداشت (05/0 <p).  بر اساس آزمون همبستگی پیرسون، بین دو متغیر نگرش مذهبی و شکیبایی رابطه معنادار وجود داشت.(343/0r= ) (0001/0 p =)نتیجه‌گیری: نتایج این مطالعه نشان داد که هر چه میزان نگرش مذهبی دانشجویان بیش تر باشد میزان شکیبایی نیز بیش تر است. بنابراین می توان با ارتقاء نگرش مذهبی دانشجویان، به شکیبایی بیشتر آنان در مراقبت از بیمار منجر شد که نتایج آن به نفع بیمار و خانواده و حتی سازمان می باشد.
