Antidictionaries

Dictionaries which defined basic references containing the vocabulary of a language are classified according to their aims and technics to different categories. these categories occur according to some standarts. these standarts are whether dictionary monolingual or multilingual, alphabetic or non-alphabetic and also vocabulary’s type in dictionary (general dictionaries, dialect dictionaries, thesaurus, terminologies etc.). also antidictionary which defined a reference work which deviates from the expected norm in content (humour), style (satire) or format (non-alphabetic arrangement) is a different type of dictionary category according to its aims and technics. antidictionaries are dictionaries which coming out of these common categories and whose content is humorous and critical. antidictionaries have extraordinary definitions substituted for customary definitions. the basic propert of antidictionaries are extraordinariness in definitions, technics and database. beside this, the definitions have an approach of cynical, humorous, critical and sometimes opposite of social values. in this work, we emphasize what is the antidictionary, the primary antidictionaries in turkey and world and we will mention that their properties..
