The Language Atlas of Eskişehir Studies (Native and Immigrant Local Dialects)

In eskişehir which is one of the provinces that have a significant amount of immigration in our country, many languages, dialects and local dialects are spoken because of the variety of ethnic elements. however, an extensive study has not been done about not only these immigrants but also native communities yet. the project of tübitak named “the language atlas of eskişehir” and whose coordinator is us, is being carried out with this purpose. in this article, some observations will be made about the local dialects of the mentioned communities which are in eskişehir as natives and immigrants mostly on the basis of their ethnic structures. due to our avaliable materials and investigations, and because the project has newly started, our study will be limited with the observation of native and immigrant local dialects spoken in eskişehir, the features of the local dialects will not be mentioned.
