چکیده
|
It is required to provide sustainability, to make institutional value and to develop organizational trust which has numerous positive outcomes. in literature it has been emphasized to examine all kind of factors affecting and might affect organizational trust. for this reason, in this study it is aimed to put forward whether power distance affects organizational trust and organizational trust dimensions or not. organizational trust was analyzed in three sub-dimensions as trust to managers, trust to colleagues and trust to organization in terms of scope. sample of the study consists of 329 academic and administrative staff of a state university. the data gathered through survey was analyzed by using descriptive statistics, correlation and regression analysis. according to findings, power distance affects organizational trust as weak and on positive direction. similarly, power distance affects trust to managers and trust to colleagues as the sub-dimensions of organizational trust as weak and on positive direction. however, it was observed trust to organization wasn‟t affected by power distance in any way.
