The Relationship Between Clustering and Competitiveness: A Conceptual Review

In recent years, the majority of studies emphasizes that the growth of global economy has emerged as a result of influence of spatial processes at the local level. in the last decade, on the development of regional competitiveness, the importance given to the issue of cluster approach has increased and clustering has become one of the most important parts of regional development and competitiveness strategies. countries with strong economies have competitive industries which are carried by cluster approach. the aim of this study is to examine the aspects of the relationship between clustering and competitiveness and to emphasize the benefits of clustering.
