Organizational Commitment Problem in Newly Established Universities

The purpose of this study is to determine organizational commitment levels of academic and administrative personnel and to determine differences among employees’ organizational commitment levels according to their demographic characteristics. the study was performed with academic and administrative personnel in a state university that established after 2000. according to the findings, there are no statistically significant differences between organizational commitment levels of academic and administrative personnel. however, organizational commitment levels of (full, associate and assistant) professors are lower than other academic staff’s commitment levels.
