روش‌ شناسی بنیادین نظریۀ خرده ‌فرهنگ ‌های جوانانِ ریچارد هبدیج

ظهور خرده‌فرهنگ‌های جوانان در بریتانیای پس از جنگ جهانی دوم، توجه بسیاری از اندیشمندان را به خود جلب کرد. ریچارد دیک هبدیج، از چهره‌های شاخص مکتب مطالعات فرهنگی بیرمنگام و از تاثیرگذارترینِ نظریه‌پردازان حوزۀ جوانان، با ارایۀ الگویی سیاسی و طبقاتی تلاش کرد که این تحولات را تبیین کند. از دید وی، این خرده‌فرهنگ‌ها تلاش می‌کنند با نافرمانی‌های حساب‌شده و مقاومت‌های نمادین، نظم مسلط را به چالش بکشند و واجد انگیزه‌های سیاسی هستند.نظریۀ ایشان همچون هر نظریۀ علمی دیگر بر مبادی وجودی معرفتی و غیرمعرفتی خاصی از قبیل: رئالیسم انتقادی، اصالت تضاد، فرهنگ سیاسی‌شده، انسان بدون ذات و در میانۀ جبر و اختیار و حقیقت‌ساز و برساختی‌بودن حقیقت استوار است.گروهی از جامعه‌شناسان ایرانی کوشیده‌اند از نظریات وی برای تحلیل حیات جوانان در ایران، به‌ویژه در سال‌های پس از پایان جنگ استفاده کنند. تبیین مختصات نظریه هبدیج، نشان می‌‌دهد که عدم توجه به مبادی آن، سبب بروز خطا در شناخت وضعیت اجتماعی ایران و ناتوانی محققان از پیش‌بینی وقایع آینده و واکنش‌های این نسل می‌شود. نتیجه این‌که، نظریه‌پردازان ایرانی باید ضمن بهره‌گیری از ظرفیت‌های احتمالی نظریات موجود در حوزۀ مطالعات جوانان، به الگوی جدیدی برای تبیین شرایط جامعۀ خودشان برسند. این الگو باید از یک‌سو ویژگی‌ها و پیچیدگی‌های جوان امروز ایرانی را بشناسد و از سوی دیگر، ریشه‌ها و سابقۀ فرهنگی او را مورد توجه قرار دهد.

Hebdige’s Fundamental Methodology of Youth Subcultures Theory

The emergence of youth subcultures in Britain after the Second World War attracted the attention of many scholars. Richard Dick Hebdige, a prominent figure in Birmingham School of Cultural Studies, and one of the most influential theorists in the youth field tried to explain these developments by presenting a political and stratified model. In his view, these subcultures are struggling to challenge the dominant order and have political motives, with calculated disobediences and symbolic resistance.His theory, like any other scientific theory, is based on certain epistemological and nonepistemological foundations. Critical realism, the originality of conflict, a politically motivated culture, human without essence and in the midst of determinism and in indeterminism and as a truthmaker, and the construction of the truth can be considered the epistemic foundations of Hebdige's theory. This theory was also the result of social developments The British developing society of the postWorld War II years.A group of Iranian sociologists has tried to use his ideas to analyze the lives of young people in Iran, especially in the years after the end of IranIraq War. The explanation of characteristic of Hebdige's theory shows that the lack of attention to its foundation leads to errors in understanding of Iran’s social status and the inability of researchers to predict future events and reactions of this generation. The result is that Iranian theorists must, while taking advantage of the potential capacities of the ideas within the field of youth studies, come up with a new model for explaining the conditions of their own society. This model should, on the one hand, recognize the features and complexities of today's Iranian young people and, on the other hand, it does not ignore its roots and cultural background.
