بررسی ارتباط خریدهای تسلیحاتی محمدرضا شاه از آمریکا و انگلیس با حضور مستشاران نظامی در ایران و پیامدها

محمدرضا شاه پایه‌های قدرت خویش را بر سه پایه نیروهای مسلح، شبکه حمایتی دربار و دیوان‌سالاری گسترده قرار داده بود. با افزایش قیمت نفت او برای حفظ سلطنت و تحقق آرمان‌های خویش اقدام به تجهیز ارتش نمود. در این راستا خرید تسلیحات از آمریکا و انگلیس، ایران را به‌عنوان مهم‌ترین خریدار در آن زمان مطرح ساخت. خرید تسلیحات نظامی از این دو کشور در دوره پهلوی دوم موجب شد تا مستشاران نظامی بهانه حضور در ایران را به‌دست آورند. ضعف حکومت شاه و همچنین موقعیت جغرافیایی ایران که از بعد نظامی و امنیتی برای آمریکا و انگلیس دارای اهمیت بود، باعث شد تا فعالیت آن کشورها در ایران در قالب حضور مستشاران نظامی پدیدار گردد. ازاین‌رو بررسی پیامدهای حضور آنها در ایران، پرسش اصلی این مقاله است؛ که تلاش شده به‌روش توصیفی- تحلیلی و با به‌کارگیری منابع کتابخانه‌ای و اسناد و مدارک به آن پاسخ داده شود. یافته‌های پژوهش حاضر نشان می‌دهد که انجام خریدهای تسلیحات نظامی توسط شاه، رابطه مستقیم با حضور مستشاران نظامی در ایران داشت و پیامدهای آن دخالت مستشاران نظامی آمریکا و انگلیس در امور سیاسی، نظامی، امنیتی ایران بود. همچنین خریدهای تسلیحاتی در سایر حوزه‌های اجتماعی و اقتصادی کشور نیز اثر گذاشت.

mohammad reza shah had placed the foundations of his power on the three pillars of the armed forces, the support network of the court and the extensive bureaucracy. with the increase in the price of oil, he started to equip the army to preserve the monarchy and realize his ideals. in this regard, the purchase of weapons from america and england made iran the most important buyer at that time. the purchase of military weapons from these two countries during the second pahlavi period made the military advisors get an excuse to be in iran. the weakness of the shah’s government as well as the geographical location of iran, which was important for the united states and england from a military and security point of view, caused the activities of those countries to appear in iran in the form of the presence of military advisers. therefore, examining the consequences of their presence in iran is the main question of this article; which has been trying to be answered by descriptive-analytical method and by using library resources and documents. the findings of the present research show that the purchase of military weapons by the shah had a direct relationship with the presence of military advisors in iran, and the consequences of that were the involvement of american and british military advisors in iran’s political, military, and security affairs. also, weapons purchases had an effect on other social and economic areas of the country.
