موقعیت‌‌‌‌سنجی جهان اسلام در مرزبندی شمال جنوب

این مقاله تلاش‌دارد با بررسی شرایط و ویژگی‌های اقتصادی، اجتماعی و فرهنگی کشورهای اسلامی، موقعیت کلی این کشورها را در مرزبندی شمال جنوب مشخص‌سازد. مقاله برای این منظور طیف متنوعی از معیارهای توسعه‌ای را برای تشریح وضعیت توسعه‌ای بلوک کشورهای اسلامی به‌کارمی‌گیرد و آستانه‌های مشخصی را برای ترسیم مرزبندی شمال و جنوب مدنظرقرارمی‌دهد. این معیارها، امکان انجام مقایسه‌های منظم و منطقی در داخل بلوک کشورهای اسلامی و میان گروه کشورهای اسلامی با دیگر گروه‌بندی‌های توسعه‌ای مطرح همچون جهان در حال توسعه و جهان پیشرفته را فراهم‌می‌سازد. مقاله در جستجوی پاسخ به این پرسش اصلی است که مجموعه کشورهای جهان اسلام با توجه به متغیرها و شاخص‌های عمده توسعه، چه جایگاهی در سطح جهان دارند و موقعیت آنها نسبت‌به مرزبندی شمال و جنوب چگونه است؟ در پاسخ به این سوال مقاله نشان‌می‌دهد که کشورهای حوزه جهان اسلام بر اساس متغیرها و شاخص‌های عمده توسعه، وضعیت ناهمگنی دارند؛ اما به‌طور کلی بر اساس مرزبندی‌های موجود، موقعیت جهان اسلام با بخش ضعیف‌تر کشورهای جنوب (جنوب پایین) قابل انطباق است. عدم توفیق بلوک کشورهای جهان اسلام در زمینه توسعه علمی و جذب و به‌کارگیری فناوری‌های پیشرفته، جزو مهم‌ترین عوامل موقعیت ضعیف کشورهای اسلامی در سطح جهان به‌حساب‌می‌آید. مقاله طیف گسترده‌ای از داده‌های کمّی و کیفی را در راستای آزمون فرضیه به روش تحلیلی و توصیفی مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرارداده‌است.

Positioning of the World of Islam in NorthSouth Demarcation

The present paper is an attempt to study the position of the Islamic countries in the NorthSouth division through studying their economic, social and cultural conditions. Hence a number of criteria have been studied to explain the developmental condition of the bloc of Islamic countries and a specific threshold has been set to the depict the NorthSouth demarcation. These criteria prepare the grounds for a logical comparison within the Islamic world bloc and between the bloc of Islamic countries and other developmental groupings such as the developing and developed worlds. The main question of the present paper is as follows:  what is the position of the countries constituting the Islamic world in the world and in the division of North and South? The findings of the paper indicate that the countries of the world of Islam, on the basis of main development indexes and variables, are not congruent. But on the basis of the existing demarcations, the condition of the world of Islam is compatible with the weak countries of the South. The failure of the countries of the world of Islam in scientific development and attraction and employment of advanced technology are among the factors for their weak position on the world level. Qualitative and quantitative data have been used through analyticaldescriptive method to test the hypothesis.
