Determination of Mechanization Inputs and Costs of Bean Production in Karaman Province

In this study, the unit production costs of dry bean, which have a significant share in agricultural production of karaman province, along with share of mechanization and labor costs within the unit cost have been analyzed with the help of survey data obtained from different local enterprises.according to results, it has been calculated that unit production cost is 868.2±127.85tl da^-1year^-1. in this total amount, mechanization expenses have the biggest share with 356.5±54.25 tl da^-1 year^-1 while an expense related to labor is calculated as 135.7±38.16 tl da^-1year^-1. proportionately, mechanization costs constitute 47% of the total costs. the total revenue/total cost ratio is calculated as 0.94±0.313 based on the average yield of 262.5±68.22kg da^-1. accordingly, profit per unit is found to be-68.2±270.32 tl da^-1year^-1.
