The Effect of Sowing Date on Determining Yield and Yield Components of Some Bread Wheat Varieties (Cultivars) in Tokat- Kazova Ecological Conditions

This study was conducted to determine the effect of sowing date on yield and yield components of some bread wheat cultivars under tokat-kazova ecological conditions. as the sowing time delayed yields of varieties (p<0.01), heading date (p<0.01), heading date-maturity date (p<0.01), maturity date (p<0.01), plant height (p<0.05), seed weight per ear (p<0.05) and number of ears per square-meter (p<0.01) decreased. thus, it can be suggested that sowing of wheat should be 1-30 october.
