Description of the Blackberry Genotypes Sampled from Natural Ecosystem of Middle and Eastern Blacksea Region by Morphological Traits According to UPOV Criteria

In this study, 44 of wild blackberry genotypes collected from various locations in the black sea region covering eight cities were used. upov descriptor was used to determine morphological differences and similarities among genotypes. the morphological observations and measurements on uniform plants during during two years were converted to upov criteria scores. dendograms and principle coordinate analysis were obtained by using these scores. the results of dendogram and coordinate analysis put the genotype into two major groups, one is big and the other is small. it is observed that there are some effects of the geographical factors of original locations where the main materials of genotypes taken on the morphological characters. while the small main group of dendogram contains the genotypes taken from over 1000 m altitude, the bigger main group divided into two sub groups, one comprises the genotypes taken from the coast of black sea and, one contains the genotypes were taken from internal black sea region.
