Visual Analysis of Natural and Cultural Source Values Considering Different Landscape Character Sites; the Sample of Erzurum

This study was conducted to determine the visual landscape quality of source values of eight study sites in and around the city of erzurum sheltering different landscape characteristics and their representative flowering plants, historical remains, water elements like river and lake, forest, grasslands, geological formations and rural landscape. these sites were evaluated for 15 different parameters by presenting the images taken from the area to 150 participants. as the consequence of the evaluation, 8th site (erzurum-tortum-uzundere route) got the highest scores for nine parameters, 4th (narman-oltu-şenkaya route)site got the highest scores for 3 parameters while 3rd site (palandöken mountains) was the first for two parameters and 7th site (erzurum plain) was the at the first row for one parameter.
