Determination of Meloidogyne incognita (Kofoid & White, 1919) (Nemata:Meloidogynidae) Races in Vegetable Fields in Erbaa and Niksar plains in Tokat

Research was conducted to find out the races of meloidogyne incognita (kofoid & white, 1919) (nemata: meloidogynidae) in erbaa and niksar vegetable fields in tokat in 2007-2008. for this purpose, 33 root knot nematode m. incognita populations were determinated. races determined by the north carolina host test. as a result, two races of m. incognita (race 1 and race 2) were found in 33 population. the ratio of race 1 was 87,8% while race 2 was 12,1%. race 2 was only found in erbaa plain.
